need some suggestions on making my new 2.5g tank shrimp safe, it has an intank whisper filter and the inhabitants are going to be red cherries, i'm afraid that the filter would harm the little shrimp babies..any suggestion?

You can put a round foam filter over the intake. If you go to anyplace that sells stuff for ponds you can get some biofoam and cut a hole in it to take the intake. or you can buy pre-made ones.

I prefer undergravel filters myself.
