i have a DIY hagen Co2 in my 10 gallon tank. Being economical, i made a co2 bell diffusor to catch the little ones that get out on the top. To increase diffusion rate, i'll need something to move the water inside. are there any powerheads that are harmless to baby shrimps?

Most of the powerheads out there are waaay too powerful for a 10g tank, it will be swirling your tank like you flushed the toilet. Get the smallest you can find, something around 20-40 gph flowrate. You'll need a sponge filter intake and wrap it with a brine shrimp net or some mesh so tiny the baby shrimp can't fit through the holes.
Your better off forgeting the powerhead and going with a sponge filter or a bubble screen to get some water movement.

If you get a small power head like a penguin 550 and use the reverse flow adapter with an under gravel filter it will be just fine. I was using two of these in a 10 gallon aquarium and there is very little turbulence because it is spread over such a large surface area. The baby shrimp can graze directly on the filter without getting sucked through.
