Hello
Welcome back Mustafa.
I am ready to sell off my extra Cherry Reds to the lfs and local fish club.
Need to make room for other species.
After I sort out the best colored males and females of both adult and juveniles.
I will be setting up 2 , 10 gal tanks for breeding.
I am loking for a good colony size and sex ratio for a 10 gal.
Any and all help will be appreciated
John

Starting out with 10 in a ten gallon is one way of going about it. You won't have much control over the sex ratio since nobody sells sexed dwarf shrimp so you will just have to take what you get. That especially applies to young shrimp that are hard or impossible to sex to begin with.
Thank you Mustafa. The 10 gallon tanks will be temporary housing, while the Shrimp Room gets a remodel.
After this is done I plan on housing them in 30 gallon breeder tanks. One species per tanks.
This may take a month or two, so , I do not want to over crowd them in the 10 gallon set-up.
This was the reason for the question. I quess I will have to think alittle harder before posting.
Have a great day
