pregnant ghost shrimp

as you can see if that one of my ghost shrimp is pregnant. i have another heavily pregnant in another tank. about how long does it take for the shrimp to release the eggs? how long does it take for them to hatch?

It is hard to tell from the photo if she is pregant.

But, it does look like a little dark spot under her tail.

You say you have another pregnant female in a tank, try to compare the two.

Sorry not quite sure on the "time to hatch"

It takes about a month for them to hatch. The larva take about 4-7 days to mature to baby shrimp, but you need to have micro food for them. You can't have them with any fish at all.

The mother will carry the eggs on her swimmerlets until they hatch.
