hi guys/girls,
can anybody provide how to sex adult with pix? basically, i can tell males and females, but sometimes its hard to tell if they are not mature yet. has anybody known the ratio of male/female after hatch?

As you noticed it's very hard to tell the gender of sub-adult shrimp. There are really only subtle differences in sub-adults and those differences are not fool-proof indicators, either.
As to the male/female ratio, I seem to see always more females than males with my N. denticulata sinensis "Red Cherry" shrimp, but that is not based on any scientific observations. I do not know what the gender ration with the Crystal Reds is, but I can't imagine the ratio to be to skewed. If you take any 10 animals of any shrimp species, there should be males and females among them.
