There are these tiny shrimp (I think they are larvae) that show up in my tank every two weeks. I had them a few years ago, then they dissapeared, and only now have they turned up again. I have a single cleaner shrimp in my tank that I've had for over a year and I've never seen it carrying eggs. They look exactly like the larvae of the Hawaiian shrimp pictured on this website. I can't figure out how to post pictures with this message, so if you think you can help me, email me and I'll send you pics of the shrimp. I really want to know what these are and where they are coming from.

To post pictures here you need to have them someplace on the web like photobucket. You can then use the IMG /IMG to bracket the URL where the picture is located. Photobucket makes it easy as you can copy & paste the correct tags right into her.
What species of shrimp is this? Saltwater or Fresh?

Do you have any other fauna in the tank at all? Are you absolutely sure it is shrimp larva, it may be microorganisms. It seems odd for a shrimp to have babies alone, especially if you've never seen it carrying eggs
