So fare I have only breed cherry shrimps, but I have just finished setting up a second shrimp tank. What other shrimps breed in freshwater?

Take a look at the Shrimp Varieties page. The individual profiles will tell you if they need brackish/sea water. Many of the algea-eaters breed in freshwater.

So that means that unless it says it need brackish water normal freshwater will do just fine? In that case I'm ordering some bumble bee's and tigers any day soon now :)

Yes. Anything with a completely supressed larval stage should breed in freshwater.

Mustafa, is that corret?

Hi Brad,

The "Abbreviated" larval stage group of shrimp also breeds in complete freshwater during all life stages.
