Hi All,

Do you know how to distinguish Red Cherry shrimps from Hawaiian Red shrimps. They look very simililar on pictures.

Mustafa, you keep both. Can you answer this question, please.

Hi Oleg,

It's really easy to distinguish both species. I thought the pictures would make it quite apparent. The H. rubra stay much smaller than the N. denticulata sinensis and also have much smaller eyes. Their eyes are just tiny dots and barely visible (an adaptation to underground living). Their bodies are skinnier also.

Trust me...once you see an H. rubra and a N. denticulata sinensis side by side there won't be any question about which is which.
