Hi everyone :-) I've been lurking on this site for awhile now, but didn't want to register because that would only lead to an OCD affair with shrimp :?

But I've given in to temptation... and had a few questions!!!
1. Is this tank too small for shrimps/plants?
[admin: link to commercial auction listing deleted as links to commercial websites are not allowed. Link was to a 4 gallon tank]
2. If I'm out of town for 1 month will they die?

I am hoping they won't die... if they do I won't bother getting a tank :(
Thank you! *returns to lurk mode* ;-)

Outside links are allowed, just not commercial "for sale" type links. Please read over the stickies at the top of the forum for the "dos and don'ts"

I think it depends on how many shrimp you have in the tank and if the filtration is good. I think that if there are only a few shrimp then bioload (waste) would be low and the need for water change would be less frequent. The shrimp can find enough food in the tank even if you do not have an automatic feeder. Just letting you know there are options but if you feel you can't care for the shrimps then it may not be for you. Still hope you enjoy site.
