Hydra infestation

Hi everyone,

I seem to have an infestation in my tank. It's a 10 gallon with Cherries, Ghosts and an ADF and both the Cherries and the Ghosts are having babies. Yesterday we counted 8 baby cherries and saw a couple of ghost larva floating around too.

My question is for the people who have actually been using the hydrogen pyroxide method(Yes I searched :P)

1) Did you do water changes to keep the water clean after?
2) Have you had problems with the pyroxide killing any shrimp(that you've noticed)

I want to use your success stories to benefit everyone ;-)

Try searching for "peroxide" and you'll find quite a few posts on dealing with hydra using hydrogen peroxide. :)

Shrimps have no problem to survive in low dosage of H2O2(and H2O2 is supposed to decompose to water and O2 in a day or less). But if you have pregnant females, you want to remove them or they may drop their eggs.
