Welcome to the forum! Great pics!

I'm a big fan of Class Branchiopoda, but these aren't the "right" kind of shrimp for this forum. Mustafa wants to limit this to "true shrimp" and not distant relatives that are just called shrimp.

This forum is primarily for algae eaters and small long-armed shrimp. He tolerates my M. Rosenbergii, but these aren't dwarf shrimp so they get the short shrift too, but aren't banned.

Anyway, I hope this doesn't discourage you too much. Join us and add your two cents about shrimp of Order Decapoda.

Welcome! :)

Thanks for the great pictures. I think these animals are fascinating, too. And since my website needed an "other invertebrates" section anyway, I have created this forum for such topics.

Have fun!

P.S.: Do me (and the forum) a favor and try to post pictures in a size that won't stretch the forum lengthwise, so that viewers don't have to scroll back and forth to read all the messages.

Hi Dan,

My screen is already at 1400 x 1050 (which is pretty high) and I still have to scroll. I'd say 800 pixels in width should be plenty to show the animals. That most definitely won't stretch the forum.

Thanks! :)

Cool! Love the triops. Are the streptocephalus also called "fairy shrimp"? We had those in a pool in another town I lived in as a kid. Very neat. I did not know what they were when I found them.

Is it possible to buy fairy shrimp eggs somewhere?

iturnrocks-
You are going to get yourself banned if you don't follow the rules, and I for one, don't want that to happen! You are a great addition to the forum and I know you have lots more to offer.

Please review the forum rules and go back & edit out the for sale stuff before you get on Mustafa's bad side.

Selling in the forum just plain isn't allowed, and putting links into where to buy stuff isn't allowed either. Anything like that needs to be done via PM.
