Hi Mustafa or anyone with this information,
I have had 2 or 3 of the Snowball shrimps that have a red dot at the 6th abdominal segment before the telson. It is not a big red dot but big enough to be seen easily. And all of the shrimps that had the red dot had died :( (some has been nice enough to release her matured young shrimps before death :) ). In addition, it is only 1 shrimp at a time when they develop the red dot (seems like 1 shrimp gets it after another died from the red dot). Would it be because I have been feeding them on pellet food mostly or overfeeding? However, the green shrimps that are in the same tank never gets it. Any help on this would be appreciated. :D

I have personally never seen anything like this. It does sound like some kind of disease/parasite, though. The next time you see this, isolate the affected shrimp so it does not infect other shrimp at the least (IF it is contagious).
