acid buffer

hello to everyone! I need a buffer to put my ph to 7.0, because my tap water is 7.4, and I have acidic species. anyone use acid buffer? can anyone tell me one wich is safe? anyone knows "acid buffer" from seachem? is it safe? thanks

I have it, but it doesn't work very well for very long if you have hard water to begin with. I tried with my tap water, but thepH kept bouncing back.

What finally worked was using R/O water as a base and muractic acid (small amounts- drops not cups) to set th pH. It took about a week of contant fiddling, then it locked in and I haven't had to mess with it, just do water changes with R/O water and add slight amounts of R/O right to establish the hardness I want.
