Pictures of my shrimps finally!!

Post by Kenshin »

These pictures took quiet a long time for me to take and for me to post here as I have promised a while back. Sorry for the delays but I hope all of you will enjoy.

My snowball shrimps

One of my green shrimps

Green shrimps and snowball feasting together on a Hikari Crab Cuisine Pellet. The juvenile green shrimps are very tiny compare to juvenile snowball shrimps because they take a LONG time to grow.

One of my pregnant Rusty Macrobrachium carrying eggs for close to 2 weeks now.

The husband or the head of the clan within the Rusty Macro. group.

And finally, the baby Rusty Macro. who has been growing for 2 weeks or more now. I have other smaller Rusty Macro. babies but they are very hard to get a good photo shot at. The substrate I used for the Green shrimps, Red Cherry Shrimps, and Snowball shrimps is Seachem Onyx Sand and I do not have any problems so far. The pH stays around 7.4 - 7.6. In the Rusty Macro. shrimp tank, I used Flourite.
I used the Sony DSC-P72 Cybershot digital camera which is very hectic when it comes to taking pictures of the tank. All kinds of problems. Maybe I will be investing in a newest digital type camera from Canon in the very near future. :-D
