Could I keep Red Cherry shrimp with either gold or blue rams without causality?

The rams would probably harass the shrimp. They would definitely eat any young shrimp.

Even the adults could end up as snacks. My apistos made short work of them when I had them together.

Apistos are a shortform name for Apistogrammas (Dwarf Cichlids) and VS stands for 'Vampire Shrimp'; the actual name is Atya Gabonensis.
