I know there must be a lot hiding spaces for baby shrimps.. so i was considering java moss as it is almost like a net where the shrimps can hide inside it.

If there are successful babies that I see.. I was wondering what you feed those little fellas?

thx

Java moss is a great plant for shrimplets "babie shrimp" as it provides a place for them to cling to/hide and to find food. They will find food just about anywhere in an established tank wether it is algae or tiny floating particles. The will also eat the same foods as the adult shrimp. You will see them grow and see the food they eat as dark coloration in their gut.

Best wishes and keep us updated :D

Java moss also harbors many types of micro-organisms which the baby shrimp will feed on along with the particles that get caught in it.

As long as you are feeding your adults, your babies will find enough food on their own.
