Hi guys! I've been lurking around this site for a few months and finally decided take the plunge (aka I've become a shrimpaholic) and sign up.

Here are the inhabitants of my 20 gallon tank:
Red Cherry Shrimp
2 Bamboo Shrimp (Atyopsis Moluccensis)
2 African Dwarf Frogs
2 Leapord Coryadora

Here are some pictures I wanted to share with you guys:

This is my oldest female. For some reason she seems to be the only female that is dark red (and still not as solid colored as other ones I've seen).

One of my males. You can see its nice long antennas.

A female dropping eggs

A female carrying eggs. Look closely to see eyes on the eggs.

And how do shrimplets come about? No stork here!

A couple of young shrimp grazing on brown algae on the front of the tank.

Two shrimplets watching an older shrimp eat a crushed snail.

Can't get a picture of your young shrimp? Bring them to the front of the tank :D
Image

My male Bamboo shrimp. You can just see the pregnant female perched on the other side of the rock (I'll try to get a picture of her next week when I get my camera back).

Female hanging out next to one of the cories.

My ADF smiles for the camera.

It's the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7. Not as good as AQUASAUR's Canon, but it's cheaper (and still takes pretty nice pictures).

If you want to see eggs in the pregnant female better, click here.

How many shrimp can you count?

I think there are 9. There's on tiny one on top next to the big on that's hard to recognize because of the picture quality (you can sort of see the outline against the white). The other is camouflaged really well between the two smaller ones near the bottom.

As for the wood, the LFS sold it as "driftwood"
I think it's african driftwood.

Wow, both pictures are great  . The first picture was of a cherry red shrimp and the latest one is of an amano shrimp but could you tell me how far along with eggs each one is in the picture. Have the eggs hatched yet?
