adult bamboo shrimp in 10 gal?

Hi, folks. I know some members here keep juvenile bamboo shrimp in 10 gal, but I was wondering about a larger/adult bamboo. I have 2 dwarf puffers in a densely planted 10 gal with 2 ghost shrimp for cleanup. I mostly added the ghosts to test the puffers for "shrimp safety" and they've totally left them alone, even during molting :) However, I'd like to add a bamboo shrimp in there. I would like a larger one to further discourage the puffers from harassing it (dwarf puffers are notorious nippers).

Is this setup OK for a 2-3" bamboo? If not, I'll just go with my original plan of having 1 in my 29 gal.

Also, would more than one in the 29 gal work better? Do they like company?

Thanks!

I'm not too sure about tank size requirements for bamboo shrimp, but I have mine in a 20gal. As for keeping them in groups - the information I got at my local pet shop (and I know that they aren't always 100% on target with everything as most stores just aren't) said that they like to be in groups. I have 3 in my tank and they do seem to spend time in each other's company. Also, when I have seen them in pet store tanks they seem to gather together rather than spread out so I am inclined to think they like to be in groups rather than alone.

Yes, they like company & lots of flow. A 29 gallon tank would be great. I have several in a 20 gallon long. 10 wasn't big enough.

I don't know about adding a bamboo shrimp to a 10 gallon puffer tank. how many puffers do you have in there?
