Hi i have had my Vampire Shrimp for ½ a year now, and he/she has been very peaceful, slept side to side with some fishes and never harmed a soul.
but this morning he/she went crazy and started attacking everyone that gets close to him/her.
he/she tries to put his claws into both the fishes and the other shrimps.
anyone that has the same experience?

could it be that it is summertime and the temperature is 28 degrees celsius in the aquarium?

or has he/she just lost its peaceful ways

That's absolutely normal behavior for them. If they don't want a shrimp or fish too close they just "kick" them away with their large front legs. They won't hurt anyone, though, so don't worry.

ok it's good that he/she can't hurt them.

only a litle sad that 2 days ago the fish were lying even under and on his claws and he/she didn't care.

maby he/she had enough and taking a stand that he won't act as a bed anymore
