Planaria, darn it

I just noticed some planaria in my 10 gallon cherry tank. I'm thinking it came over in a rock I took out of my red claw macro tank to put in the cherry tank because of the algae on it. I'm now doing more water changes and feeding less (I read about this doing a search on here). A couple questions, though. Do planaria eat vegetable matter? I could probably feed boiled cucumber or algae wafers for 2 weeks or so while doing the water changes to really hit the planaria good. Also, will the red claw macros eat planaria? I fed them whiteworms yesterday and they went ballistic, shoving them in like spaghetti. I just thought I could siphon them out of the cherry tank and put them in the macro tank. If they don't eat them, then they get the electric chair (or a reasonable facsimile thereof).

I don't see any reason why the red claw macros should not eat them. For them they are tasty little morsels. The only reason why they might not eat them is if they develop a taste for something they like better (like the whiteworms) and decide to be just gourmets. :)

I would not chance contaminating the red claw tank. These guys are REALLY hard to get rid of without breaking down the tank. Just kill them.
