More eggs, sweet.. I take it the first ones have grown a bit? Other than the size, do the orange ones look much different than the rest?
My new trio are only 1", the male just a bit smaller than the females. Any idea what size they are sexually mature? I read somewhere they will breed at 4 months, but growth rate may be variable, depending on available food, temp, etc.
Are they growing like little crusty weeds?

I don't understand; if they look the same, how can you tell they are orange fry? Differences in size are common among any litter of just about any type of critter.
I was wondering if the fry showed any color, or are colorless like shrimp fry when small.
Looking forward to baby crayfish, the first tiny cherry shrimp were great to see That's when you know you're doing things right.

How big was she at 6 months? (I'm wondering how long before mine will start spawning.)My Female carried her first eggs at 6 months.

Ah, the sweet feeling of success
How big/old are the young 'uns?
Is that an orange on top of the rock?
I'm still waiting to see eggs on my females, but the one who was missing a claw when she arrived now has a matching pair. At least that's a good sign. I was a bit surprised at how quickly it grew back. I wasn't sure whether she would be a "lefty" until she molted.
