I keep red cherry and recently aquired some crystal reds. Will they cross breed? I hope I can save space by keeping them together but won't do so if they will interbreed.

They will not cross breed. You can keep them together in one tank but make sure water conditions are ideal for the Crystal Reds (CRS) as they are the more sensitive to non-ideal water condtions.
