In case anyone's still curious, it seems that these flat little ramshorns belong to the genus Gyraulus, which has many species, a worldwide distribution, and a long fossil history, at least according to what I gathered from a Google search. Thanks for the link to information. I am very curious about this, especially since I would like them to reproduces more than my pondsnail ramshorns, I really enjoy these little guys, infact they were the first misterious snail I have ever found in one of my aquariums.
