Hi members,

I thought of keeping a journal of this my first experience with dwarf crayfish. I have two pairs of Cambarellus Shufeldtii in my 20 litre tank which I set up for them. I tried to make lots of hiding places where the females can retreat as discussed in this forum. Here is the tank:

Here are some more pictures of my cajuns:

Last week I realised that the two females have eggs. Unfortunately today I noticed that one of them dropped the eggs! I have made searches regarding crustaceans loosing eggs but there is still no reference for cajuns dropping eggs. I use ro water and arrange hardness buy using seachem' s equilibrium. I maintain the ph slightly acidic. (6.8 ). The other female is still berried and retreats a lot in the bogwood. I managed to take a photo which I would like to share too:

Comments and personal views are appreciated. Thanks for your expert advices,

Very nice setup you have :D Thanks for the pictures you have great looking crays! How you searched dwarf crayfish yet, I remember some of the threads mentioning dropping of eggs. Best wishes on your crays.
