I bought 10 ghost shrimp from a LFS about 5 days ago. One has some very unusual white veins running through it. What is this?
Hope the pictures come up right, this is my first attempt at adding photos
Thanks,
Bob

One of my GS females had that. Put yours in a quarantine tank or net and wait for it to pass. Mine lived for about 4 months after hers passed (I also think she was at the end of her life when I got her...very big). There is no reason to kill her, as was suggested with mine on another forum.

Good Luck with your GS.

A WORM!
Did a quick web search, can't find any info on this thing. I can't take any chances here. The shrimp is in the same tank as my Discus. If there is any chance it can transfer the shrimp has got to go!
Thanks for heads up.

Found it, a horse hair worm.
The shrimp is in a small container for now while I figure out what I'm going to do.

I want to apologize for not searching the forum on this problem, I got so consumed in trying to find a place to upload the pictures that I forgot to do a thorough search.
Again, thanks
