Help identify the mystery shrimp!

I posted this on plantgeek.net recently, but was recommended to post here instead for the experts' opinion.
I'm curious if anyone here can help me ID these mystery shrimp. I think there are 3 or 4 in my tank, but they're rather shy. They are usually deeply buried among the java fern or hiding a under a rock by day, but I managed to get a couple pictures (not the best quality).
These pictures don't accurately capture it, but they are significantly larger than cherries--more the size of an amano. And they are much darker--some look dark red (top picture, below), others look almost black (bottom). I'm wondering if they are some cross-breed? Is that possible?
Btw, they do not have fan claws, so I know they aren't singapore/wood shrimp.
Thanks
