Broken tank

I just need to cry to someone who understands for a moment, so please indulge me.

My daughter tripped and whacked her head on the top rim... she's just fine, but there are now about five cracks in the side of my cherry tank, one of which runs completely from top to bottom. The worst part is, I just got done moving the thing to a better stand... had everything in and ready to go again, and now I have to start all over again. :smt089

I've taken the water down about 60%, and put duct tape on the outside of the cracks, so everyone pray with me that it holds until morning, because I have nowhere else to put the shrimp until I can get a new tank!

Don't dispair!
All will be OK untl tomorrow when you get a new tank...
Just transfer the contents to tthe new tank gravel filter & all..

Involve your daugher. It will help.

got a clean sterlite container? not sure how big the tank is, but i think i would want to get the rest of the water out instead of letting it sit.

Thanks for the support... everybody is safe and sound in the new tank now, although I think my head is going to explode. Shrimp are dang hard to net! I also used the opportunity to get rid of most of the gravel, so I just have lots of rocks, which I've been wanting to do for awhile now, so some good has come of it. I swear to you this tank is jinxed, first the heater broke and most of my shrimp died of heat exhaustion (it hit 85 before I realized what was wrong), then my roof started leaking and bits of drywall got in the tank (more dead shrimp), and now this! Hopefully my next news on this tank will be lots and lots of babies, because I don't have very many shrimp left...
