Leaves for shrimp

Post by Bradimus »

Are there any types of leaves that should not be placed in a shrimp tank? I have some live oaks, a sycamore and a cherry tree in my yard. I know the cherry leaves are chocked full of cyanide goodness, so I'll skip them. Are there any others I should watch out for?

That's a good question. There are so many different tree species out there that it would be impossible to make a list of poisonous leaves not suitable for a shrimp tank.

Just collect the leaves from your oak tree in the fall to be on the safe side.

Take care,
