They are not very large, you need to look close.

The Procambarus Species are alot easier to sex the males.
The biggest problem with the Cherax Species.
Is that they are some what new to the Hobby here in the US and most of the Wholesalers can not sex them correctly.
And it get costly, Ordering them in from a Pet Store at $30 retail and you end up with all males or all females.
