Avoiding the cleaning crew

Post by southerndesert »

I am just having a ball watching these Malaya Shrimp! They seem to enjoy letting the snails get right up to the food then running off a little ways

Hope I am not boring you all with this stuff, but I think these are some really neat shrimp.

Is that a rock your shrimp is blending into? That is a nice picture, thanks!

Speaking for myself, I am not bored at all :D

Yes it is a rock and here in AZ we have a lot to pick from that are stable and safe for shrimp or fish tanks.

Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill,

You take some really good pictures. I, too, enjoy seeing them. The first time I saw a shrimp grab the food and run, I had to laugh. It is so interesting to watch the different ways the shrimp interact with tank mates. They drive my whip tails and twig catfish nuts when they get on them looking for food. :D
