Proper Introduction

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, and there wasn't a place for introductions so I figured I'd start here. I have been reading the forum for information for a couple weeks now and the knowledge/advice is great.
Ok, so about my shrimp. Currently I only have 6 RCS shrimp in a small (2gal i think) hex tank with some Java moss and a red rock they like to sit on. This is just temp housing for them before they will be going into a 20gal shrimp or possible community tank. These are my first pet shrimp, as the ghost shrimp I have had prior to this were to feed my Jack Dempsey during vacations.
I have started to grow quite an interest in these little guys, so I look forward to posting here, and getting many more shrimp.
