I'm collaborating with someone about to revisit the Río Ayuquila-Río Armería watershed, west central Mexico. On his last trip, he encountered this 15-cm Macrobrachium prawn in a shallow riffle. I believe it's M. occidentale.

Does anyone have a list of the decapod crustaceans (crabs and crayfish as well as shrimp) he might encounter in this area? Since he'll have access to preserved material, I'd appreciate a list of the diagnostic features (rostrum, chelae, etc.) he ought to photograph for species-level identification.
