Whats the best shrimp to keep in a salt water tank?

I'm thinking about setting up a salt water tank. There's been a lot of improvements in the salt water hobby since 1983, when I last had salt water. I'm looking for a shrimp that won't hurt a reef tank. If it breeds, that would be a bonus. I kept an arrow crab back then and got to watch it molt, and then die. Today I'm wondering if it died because of insufficient iodine. So any input on a good reef shrimp would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to hear of any good or bad experiences.
