Great pics. Your Amanos aren't looking to shabby either. Cool plants by the way.

Thanks! I wish I had a camera as amanda_h used.
By the way, Red Cherries didn't survive in this tank for a long. Maybe because of the plant fertilzer I added. My Green shrimp survived though.

Those are great pics Oleg. Creepy looking wood shrimp, but great pics!
It's too bad about your cherries. What fertilizers are you using? I'm sure we're starting out with similar water parameters, and I'm adding fertilizers too (micro and macro).

Hey Amanda,
I set up 10G tank on my desk at work
I got 3 Red Cherries from my friend, two females (now both are with eggs) and one male. I hope it will work out this time. I also have 4 Green shrimps in that tank.
What fertilizers are you using?
A modified version of Tropica's MasterGrow. I also add nitrates and phosphates.
Amanda, do you have a male Green shrimp for me?

Maybe.

My first batch of baby greens has almost reached maturity. Hard to find a specific shrimp in my tank tho, unless I get lucky and he swims right by.
How did you modify the MasterGro? I'm also using TMG, and adding Nitrates and Phosphates, although I'm being really lazy and I'm not fertilizing as regularly as I should.
They were fairly small when we got them. Any chance they got sucked into your filter?

Hey Oleg
Finally ... congrats on the 10g at work too ... err ... what happened to the bigger one? Sorry to hear about your cherries, but I think they just might be in there somewhere ... your tank is heavily planted ...
Now, all you need is to post your picture of the new 10g and the new shrimps in it too ...

Hey Oleg,
One question that has nothing to do with shrimp. Is that fish a SAE or a thai flying fox?
thanks

This is SAE. These guys are the best, they even eat BBA. See
