Are these Cherry's??? They were sold as red crystal lol, but I am not sure myself. Keep in mind they have only been in the tank a couple days and might not be fully coloured....

Definitely Cherries. The gold saddle is eggs developing in her ovaries.

no way!! really??

Do you have any info on raising the young etc?? As cherries are like near impossible to get here haha. I had to pay £20 for 6 (thats about $40US) - so raising my own would be very viable!!

As long as you have some males, there is not much to it. Just provide them with food (normal flake fish food is fine) and clean water. They are actually quite prolific.

Betta: NO! Bettas are quite adept at hunting down every single one of them since small crustaceans are their natural food in the wild.

haha okay so I better keep a fry net handy then ;) He doesnt attack the adults mind. But babies would be so small I imagine theyd look too tasty.
