Got a new blue, species? (nice colors)

Post by Fishguy2727 »

I finally got this one. It had been at my work for months. It came in as an electric blue but lost most its blue after a little while. It slowly gained some back but also gained some purple. IT has grown quite a bit since we got it. Any ideas on the species?

Cherax quadricarinatus is being farm raised as a food source.
And for Wholesalers, these are alot cheaper than the " True " Electric Blue. Procambarus alleni.
Alot of these Crayfish will lose the Blue coloration and turn back to there " Wild " coloration.

As Mustafa stated above,
These will get large, unlike most of the other Cherax Species that are available.

Good Luck
