hi all, i am starting my first tank and will have rcs. But have a question about a crayfish as a possible tank mate? it seems to me the crayfish would be a bad mate since they sometimes eat fish, but i have only found one site (not a very good one either) that discusses this mix and it lists dwarf crayfish and dwarf shrimp as good mates (i searched the threads here first and found nothing). if anyone knows about these tankmates compatibility please let me know! :D

I have a 4.5" (not including claws) P. Alleni in my RCS tank. I've never seen her go after the shrimp. There are always a few perched on her back.

The tank is a 20gal long with just a few caves for the crayfish. The cray will eat just about any plant that touches the gravel so I have a few Red-root floaters.

Your mileage may vary. :)
