Do crayfish tolerate low temperatures, in other words what's the lowest temperature they survive in? Do they need a heater in their tank?

matters what species. most of the crays in todays hobby are tropical but if you get the native crays from your area they can talerate the natural winter to summer temp.

I agree with maxcow. Most crays in today's hobby will need a heater in the winter.
