first batch of craybies.

Post by angry pirate »

hi, as you may of guessed i just had my first batch of Procambarus vasquezae hatch and have a question. Of the batch of 30ish, they won't stand still long enough for me to count them, i've noticed that approximatly a quater of them have taken on a light pink colour instead of the mottled brown of the rest. Any ideas ón what is going on?

You need to post pictures, but it may mean that they are not doing all that well and are about to die.

sorry i haven't replied in ages, shortly after my last post my computer died! but anyway i'm guessing it was just natural variation as i now have thirty odd of the lil things running around and bothering their parents and my cherries. just got to try and find someway to get rid of them i think 80 litres is a little cramped for them.
