Can red cherry shrimp eat so much they will die? and if they do so, how fast do they die?
and are there any tell tale signs i could look for?
i was dropping algae covered rocks into their tank, from my bamboo that was growing in a pitcher of water in the kitchen..
2 of them died within about 3 days of me starting this, and a 3rd recently died about 3 days after i stopped feeding them those algae covered rocks.
they cleaned them SUPER fast tho! which is why i thought it was ok...
and now im wondering if perhaps this was the cause..
any info would be appreciated! thanks :)

Hmmm.... I think you would poison your water and kill them that way, before they exploded.

what is the reason for this? was the algae toxic? >.<
the water from the pitcher had been sitting there for weeks...
i just picked up the rocks with chopsticks. there was very minimal water with it..
i feel so bad.... i only have one now... sigh.
