Just moved a berried female to 10g. It has flourite, plants, driftwood, filter with a prefilter sponge, and a air driven sponge filter. It's already a mature tank, I just moved some fish out of it a few days ago. Specs are almost identical to main display tank.

What I'm wondering is about the salinity if and when the eggs hatch....

What it seems like I should do, is after the eggs are hatched, get mom out and back into display, and then increase the salinity of fry tank. What do you think of just adding salt to the existing tank instead of suctioning out the babies?

Food... I have some green water in another tank that I could try, but I also have some spirulina powder capsules (sold for human consumption as vitamins)... what do you think? This is assuming I get that far! I only just noticed that she was berried while she was feeding at the top of the water on some stargrass. Scooped her out. Eggs are dark, it almost looks like she's carrying around dirt.

Here is a pic of the display taken 1/17
