Here is the reason for my asking, I just found out that what I thought were baby shrimp zipping and clinging to the glass are in fact HYDRAS, yuck I read that these buggers don't like salt. Is this true and will I harm my cherries if I use salt say a teaspoon per 5G.

Please help It seems that there are only a few people on this site that really answer... any way thanks.

You can add up to about 4 ppt (parts per thousand) salt to a red cherry shrimp tank without any problems.
