Is there some kind of 12-step program for this?

How did you know it was 12 steps?

It goes like this (the number of posts required to reach each level is behind each level):

Egg 0 (i.e. you're automatically an egg)
Larva 25
Tiny Shrimp 50
Shrimp 100
Shrimpoholic 250
Shrimp Master 500
Senior Shrimp Master 750
Shrimp Nut 1000
Senior Shrimp Nut 1500
Master Shrimp Nut 2000
Absolute Shrimp Fanatic 3000
Ruler of the Shrimp Universe 5000

And of course, it is my pleasure to provide this website for all of you to enjoy. I am enjoying this hobby just as much as you guys and I don't mind at all doing all this.

I was refering to a 12-step recovery program like AA.

I know you were....haha. But this ranking system here happens to be 12 steps, too., per coincidence.

You can look at this as a recovfery program, too. We're all recovering from the lack of knowledge about crustacean decapods like shrimp. And we're all making good progress.

Hey, look what I found, this is an interesting read, especially for newer folks who don't know what the status bar under their username means .

A very belated congrats to Shrimpoholic #1 - Bradimus, my "tardy" excuse is that I was only a twinkle in a shrimp's eye back when you became a Shrimpoholic, and therefore didn't even exist.

Another belated congrats to Shrimpoholic #2 - Marge (Amber2461) - I probably didn't exist back then either

My current congrats goes to Shrimpoholic #3 - Badflash. I can't believe you beat me to the punch at Shrimpoholicism . Well hey, I'm almost there ...

Anyway, thought I'd point out the hot air bags ... oops, I mean the wonderful, helpful people here at Petshrimp.

According to these numbers, Mustafa is currently a Shrimp Nut - He has shrimps and he is nuts - haha JUST kidding.

And I love eating nuts, too! Especially brazil nuts! But I don't count here. I am just the humble "administrator" and have a job to do. You guys have all the fun.

True, quality is important, but if there is no quantity, then there are no posts and I can shut down the forum!

I really appreciate that both of you guys (gun and badfl) help me out with replying to all these questions. This forum needs enthusiastic and patient people like you. There is no way I can always reply to every single post especially now that the forum has 600+ members and is steadily growing. I might not always show my appreciation outwardly, but there you go! I just showed it!

So, keep going! You guys are well on the way to becoming "shrimp master."

So is there something after "Shrimp Master"? That came out of the blue. Maybe "Shrimp Idiot" or "Get a Life"?
