Most probably just color...there *may* be some hybridization going on, too.

Mustafa is the expert on the Identification of species.
To me,
They both look like Crystal Red Shrimp.
If you are one that goes by Grading.
The Shrimp in the first picture appears to be a Lower Grade CRS
and
The Shrimp in the second picture appears to be a higher Grade CRS
Which as TDK stated,
Selective Breeding.
