Much (most? all?) of the information on FW shrimp is wrong.

I have the second edition of this book I found a lot of the info was accurate the author is pretty well known back in europe exspecially his home of germany in a invert keeping world

Second edition or not, the book is hopelessly obsolete and provides tons of incorrect information. Of course back then there wasn't that much known about shrimp, so it's not the author's fault.
If you want to look at shrimp pics in books, you can buy the book, but I would not buy it for any up-to-date information. As hard as it may be for some people to believe, this website is really the "mecca" for the hobby in the english speaking world.
