Red cherry color variations

Hello everyone, first post, good site Mustafa! I am a planted tank enthusiast (frequent APC), and I have some amanos and recently obtained some red cherries, which I am happy to say are quickly multiplying! Which brings me to my question, many of the offspring, I would say about 50% seem to be essentially colorless. Is this normal? Is there something they're lacking? The other 50% of the shrimp range from a fair amount of red, to a little bit. From what I have been able to tell, whatever color they start with as babies, they maintain on growth. As far as food, I feed color flakes daily, and will drop some spirullina 2-3x a week for all. Fish consits of guppies, cardinals, rasboras, sae's, and ottos. I haven't noticed any of them going after any shrimp. TIA.
