Can you use plastic figurines in brackish shrimp tanks?

Post by BostonJill »

Does anyone know if you can use plastic figurines like the ones used for train dioramas in a shrimp tank? Would the paint be a problem? Would it corrode in the brackish water? If its not safe is there a way to seal the paint?

Good question...no idea. I know that most plastics (without paint) should be just fine. When in doubt, don't do it.
