Everything seems back to normal. No ammonia and the shrimp are colorful, active and grazing. A new Tarebia granifera snail just appeared on the glass, smaller than the head of a pin. It looked like a speck of dust, but under a magnifier it showed to be a TG snail. I'm glad that things are back under control. In the future, I will place new rock in a bucket and test for ammonia first.
