I have had a filter shrimp for 3 and a half years, whose name is donkeymonkey

. He is a deep red color with a bright white stripe down his back. I also have a ghostie(raised from a juvi) who has been with for a year, i think. (not sure) I also have some very old cherrys. Old ........ So, how long have you kept a shrimp.

I'm a beginner. I started this hobby in December 2004. Initially my shrimps died one by one endlessly. Then I learned much knowledge from this excellent website, and then everything became stable and no more death. What's more, the heads and tails of my Tiger became orange in color.

All my shrimps are about 2 months old here in my tank.
Now I have:
7 Tigers
2 Cherries
2 Bees
2 Black-Shelled Shrimp (It's their common name in my country, in fact their shells are not black at all. There are just a few black dots.)
