First time shrimp owner

Hi all

So im staring a opae ula tank obviously and i need some hints and like what i need and all

Have:
Tank (3 gallon w/ light)
Food: (algae rounds)
Instant Ocean Reef Salt

Need:
Marine sand
plants
Shrimp
Decorations
Macro algae
Distilled water
Sound alright?

Plants not necessary. Add some snails. The rest sounds ok. Keep the food on the side. Shrimp will not need food for a while. If you start now you could order shrimp by tax day, April 15.
